• Store your skin scans and product history securely.
• Send account-related notifications and updates about the app.
• Improve and enhance app features and performance.

3. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your data. We only share data with trusted service providers to operate the app:

• OpenAI API: For AI-powered analysis of skin scans and products.
• Supabase: For secure user authentication and data storage.

3a. Face Data

• What we collect: When you use the face scan feature, the app captures a photo of your face.
• Purpose of use: This photo is used to provide AI-based skin analysis and display scan results in your account history.
• Sharing: Face images are sent to OpenAI for AI analysis. They are not shared with any other third parties.
• Storage: Face images are stored securely in our Supabase storage so users can view their scan history. Access is restricted and protected with signed URLs.
• Retention: Face images are retained until the user deletes their account, at which point all associated account data is permanently deleted.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

• Access and update your personal data through your profile.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Request a copy of your stored data by contacting us.

6. Security

We use encryption and industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

7. Children’s Privacy

SimplySkin is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
